He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Mayer, two sisters, Millie Mayer and Gertrude Smith, and a brother, Robert Johnson.
His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he came in contact with, as well as those he reached and never met.
