If you can use a real shoe infront of you that will help. If you want to make a cake that is around 10 inches to fit on a 12 inch board, then enlarge the template till the sole size is 9½ inches. I used a buttercream mixture flavoured with chocolate paste and hazelnut flavouring between each layer of cake to make it “stick” together.
